If you would like to help the Salvation Army Christmas Toy appeal they have left a box in our school reception the deadline for donations is Friday 13th December.
In preparation for our Christmas Fayre we will be having some special non-uniform days – it is hoped that in exchange for the non-uniform days that the children can bring in a donation that we can use at the fayre.
- Friday 15th November – Bottles (please)
There will also be another non uniform day, this falls on the next Fun Friday 29th November, instead of £1 for school fund could we request donations of chocolates on that day please.

The Children of St Mary’s marked Remembrance day by falling silent at 11am for 2 minutes to pray and remember those who gave their lives for us!
Open the Book is a project which offers children an opportunity to hear the major stories of the Bible from a team of Christians from local churches who present the stories during assemblies or acts of Collective Worship. On alternate Thursdays, an ecumenical team made up a group of volunteers will deliver a short but highly creative assembly to our children, enhancing their spiritual development and supporting the school ethos.
Parents/carers were all invited to a coffee afternoon in the school hall on Thursday 24th October at 2:15pm to help raise funds for Macmillan. To help make this event the overwhelming success it has been in previous years we asked for cakes to be donated and were overwhelmed with the response. We were pleased to see so many of you attend – thank you for your continued support:
The children had a fantastically Spooky day in school today, with halloween activities, a halloween disco and a pumpkin carving competition. The kitchen staff even made Spooky biscuits for lunch:
