Dear Parents & Carers,
It’s the end of another busy school year and the governors would like to thank everyone for playing their part in making it another successful year at St Mary’s. All the staff and volunteers across the school have worked especially hard to make St Mary’s a special place to learn and we thank each and every one of them for their efforts. The huge contribution made by parents and families also plays a large part in our success, as ever your help is greatly appreciated.
We have a number of our friends and colleagues leaving St Mary’s at the end of this term. It’s been a pleasure working with you, learning from you and laughing alongside you; thanks for your dedication over the years and good luck for your future plans.
Year 6 are moving on to St Bede’s and will be sorely missed by all of us in school. They have all been shining stars in their seven years with us, a credit to their parents and our school. We hope you & your families have enjoyed your time at St Mary’s and you leave with many fond memories.
Finally can we wish you all a long, happy and enjoyable summer holiday.
St Mary’s Governors
We also send our congratulations to Mr Pryer, who is getting married during the Summer holidays. I’m sure you will join with me in wishing the couple every happiness for the future. Can I also echo the governor’s comments and extend thanks to everyone involved, no matter how large or small, in all the success we have achieved as a school community this year. I look forward to seeing you all on September 5th when we return to school.
With every good wish for a Happy Holiday.
