Our first session started with some storytelling which helped us to set our boundaries. We’ve been busy making 2D shapes with sticks, shelter building, making wands, blackberry picking for our crumbles and lots of tree climbing!
Yum Yum – Forest School Bacon Sandwiches!
We used our maps to go on a treasure hunt, built our own “Christopher Columbus” boats and received our treasure – a bacon sandwich!
We have had great fun up at Forest School today. In maths we have been learning all about measuring and so we have been practising how to measure by using tape measures to measure trees.
We have also been using our weaving skills with wool and twigs.
Our treat this week was hot dogs which we cooked on the fire –YUM YUM!
Easter Forest School
We had an eggscellent time at Easter Forest School.
We made Easter bonnets/top hats, went on an eggciting egg treasure hunt, cooked s’mores on the fire and held a mini-beast Grand National!
Well done Mr Miller the millipede you were a winner!
