Can you help please? St Mary’s does not have a library; we have no central store for our books and no quiet space to enthuse and excite our children in terms of reading. I would like to renovate our library and re-create that buzz for reading. Whilst there is a range of books in school it is by no means exhaustive and we would really appreciate any donations. The new library would rate books according to difficulty of their language inside and ultimately match each book with an electronic quiz of equal difficulty, so we are still looking for a wide variety of books: classics such as Dickens or Bronte, fantasy such as Harry Potter or The Hobbit, graphic novels to engage our reluctant male readers and indeed any book which you feel may be of benefit to the school, and that the children would enjoy. Thank you for your support in this matter – I will keep you updated on the progress of the library renovations.
